Program notes:

I have always wanted to write a ‘fun’ piece, and what comes into my mind for string instruments immediately is glissandi. For me, glissandi, especially when done quickly or changes direction in quick succession, always has a ridiculous and playful feel. In Bounce!, glissandi becomes the dominant gesture, freely gliding across different registers at varying speeds. Additionally, I adopted a notation system where only contour (but not pitch) is specified, which aims to make the performance more carefree and playful.
